"MY FEEDBACK ON CELT PROGRAMME. LOVELY FEELING, LIVELY SHARING..."

I have got an opportunity to attend this CELT programme in the year 2012. But one of my friend's request I voluntarily gave the opportunity to him. He was very happy and shared his experiences. Then I thought to attend CELT in RIESI. But I didn't get chance for many years. For the past three years I took many efforts to select my name. Even this year while selecting they said this is for primary school teachers. But I explained my expectations and I got selected. Thus I came to this programme of CELT-B4 in 2021. 

I was having a thought to enrich my spoken English like the native speakers. In the very beginning to represent the tamilnadu state, I spoke of my expectations of this program.  After everybody's speech Dr.Ravinarayan explained the objectives of the CELT-B4, 2021 programme. He said by seeing me you can get a reflexive English but you can gain much knowledge in LSRW skills and professional development skill. 

The program started by the Coordinator Dr.Suman Bundy. He said all of us to explore the campus. This we come to know where are the places situated. After the lunch by the ice-breaking activity we started to break our state, language and different thoughts, then we all spoke each other. 

Being a large number of participants the staff decided to split the participants into Batch 1 and 2. It's really a difficult task for the staff to maintain two batches but for our welfare sake they did it. Even we were finding difficulty in rapport. Even the batches were splitted by alphabetically. I was in Batch-2.

 The co ordinator Suman Bundy sir asked who is willing to be the representative of our Batch-2. So I used the opportunity of being a representative and serving our classmates. It was a great happiness to be a representative of participants from 5 states. Even from my schooling I had been as a representative. But this is different and this opportunity made me to feel my school hood. In valedictory function myself and batch-1 representative we both collected an amount to show our gratitude to RIESI, we present a speaker with two mikes which will be useful for the upcoming participants.

The everyday reflexive session from 9.30a.m to 10.00 a.m was very useful one for all of us. It made us to recall and realise the views of others. I learned the variety in invoking the GOD. I was inspired by the thought of the day. By that I learned the variety in delivering the thoughts. Then by NEWS reading I have got the news from all the 5 states. It was exciting movement and also each readers they read in different manners and ideas also with the use of technological aids. This creative ideas were useful to be utilised in my school. 

The reflection of the day made us to recall the previous day sessions. The way they explained it gave a better understanding of the class itself. I have learned a lot of adjectives that how to praise others by this session. The last but not least the activity session made us feel and motivate the talents of our co participants.

I also feel happy to be with the authors like Nagaraj Shetty from Telungana, Chandrayya from Karnataka and Kalayarasi from Tamilnadu. I spent time with all the three about their writing skill. They explained how they wrote the book. Nagaraj Shetty and Chandrayya we were discussing about the writings even till late night. It was a great experience and good learning from them.

I spent time with our Techie Thakur Shiva Bhargav. He taught me about how to utilize the Google meet and utilisation of videos in Google meet. He also suggested some apps regarding our professional usage. Even I rectified some technological issues by him. We both created the invitation of our cultural program. I wrote the script and he designed he even made me choose the design and font etc., I felt happy to design it in an hour.

I spent time with Nagaraj Shetty, he taught me to upload videos in YouTube and how to utilize the technological aids while Teaching through media. I also asked about his experiences in the path of running a YouTube channel. He shared his personal experiences and hurdles which he overcome to achieve his goal.

I have got many ideas and suggestions from Varunani and Logamani in Teaching practice. They suggested many ideas regarding the activities and methodology in Teaching. We are good friends to discuss with many of the academical development. They also get many suggestions from me. Thus they are good motivaters and well-wishers of mine.

INSPIRATIONS FROM EACH PROFESSOR:

Dr.Hitesh C.Bhakat

Our Hitesh sir by his explanation of 'Hanuman' in rescuing Sita. How Rama motivates Hanuman, the way he explained and expressed is still in my mind. I learned how to motivate others and the way of motivation and also the importance of motivation from his words. Even I was motivated by his words. Whenever I feel dull. I can motivate myself by his wordings.

Dr.Suman Bundy

Our course Coordinator and Grammar part was taken by Suman Bundy sir. He was a cool and simple very understandable person. His way of speech will make the person to accept his words. He was a keen observer in all points of view in the course. I  discussed with him a lot regarding the participants welfare, like attendance, changing the timetable, Cultural program, Valedictory, Invitation, Program schedule list preparation etc., I learned how to be cool and doing the task which has assigned to us from him.

Dr.Pooja Giri

Pooja mam was smily and energetic person to keep always the class as an active class room. As proverb says, " Sound body sound mind" mams class will be with "Sound classroom with sound wisdom". I learned how to keep active classroom atmosphere from Pooja giri mam.

Dr.Uzma S.Raheel

Uzma S.Raheel mam was simple and smily. She taught the speaking skill with practice and the usage of blackboard. I had a thought that phonetics can be taught well only by the help of technological aids. But she taught using black board and asking questions and also by forming sentences of the sounds which we learned. She was very strict to make the participants to listen the class. But she makes them to participate by making individual attention. I learned how to use blackboard as an effective tool in Teaching such difficult portion and also the classroom management.

Dr.Tha Sri Gururaj

Tha Sri Gururaj sir inspired me by his experience of reading nearly 2500 books in two and half years, this made me astonish of his great urge in his reformation of his career. I also wonder of his 20 books from his creative writings. I also feel happy to get motivated from him to become a good reader.

Dr.Ravinarayan Chakrakodi

Ravinarayan Chakrakodi sir inspired me by explaining the importance of writing. Till that I was having a false of writing skill only to improve the handwriting and basic writing skill. But only after his class I come to know all the skills including thinking skill is being utilised and a form of record and it creates a history of a person only by the use of writing skill. "Teacher as a writer". The topic itself a motivation. I felt happy by sharing my writings through blog and receiving the appreciations. I also bought his book regarding writing skill which was published by Oxford press. Now my ambition is to become the best writer. I also allotted schedule for reading and writing. Thus the whole RIESI changed my path to attain a great goal in my life.

Language Laboratory:

I have spent the time in language laboratory as a valuable one. I felt very happy of entering into a language laboratory because only I have heard about it but not seen yet. Even I kept as my DP in WhatsApp wearing the headphones. I finished most of task from the application which was given to me. I also took photos of scoring good marks in the exercises which were given. Raghavendra sir gave ideas to me to establish a language laboratory in my school. It was a wonderful movement in my career.

Library:

I explored the library. I received some good books and I read it. I also got ideas about English journals. I explored the thesis and the curriculum of PGDELT course. I also compared learning of other state text books for gradation.

These are feedback which I gave in brief that the reader should not find difficulty in reading by taking lots of time. So I finish it in brief of my lovely feeling, lively sharing...
